TEXTILE ART… DRAWING… GLASS ART… PHOTOGRAPHY… RECYCLING ART… ARTIST’S BOOK… FILM… POETRY… CONTEMPORARY ART…

These are the areas in which I have been creating for years. But something may change, because…

I am in a constant process of change and creation. Therefore, in my work, I use various techniques and materials. As much as possible, I use second-hand materials, often those that are destined to be discarded.

PORTALS

I lean over what is unnoticed by others.
In this way I tread paths to the next embroidered wells.

GLASS MANDALS

I give new life to what was meant to be thrown away.

LETTERS

Through my work I thank others for being there.

ABOUT HOME

I weave home hearths in each subsequent macrame.

ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN

I share my passion, longing and respect by drawing miniatures of the highest mountains.

ABOUT A WOMAN

With cut hair I embroider the story of an old love.

EPHEMERAS

From the rudiments a new form is created, timid, innocent, ready to come into being.

CAMERA-ACTION

The joy of being with others.

THE MATERIALIZATION OF A DREAM

WHEN THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES POSSIBLE

This page is proof that by stepping out of your comfort zone, you can overcome your own limitations and create something you’ve longed to do for a very long time. It is the fruit of my months-long work, during which I learned how to build a website and how to optimize it. But it was also a time of overcoming my own weaknesses and disbelief in my abilities. Moreover, this page is primarily the culmination of years of creative work. It’s my artistic output, which I have been building since my studies. Now, everything is gathered in one place, in this artistic portfolio.

WHY I CREATE

Here, you’ll find works from years ago, back when I was still studying, as well as my latest projects that have grown into entire series. In my creative process, I am guided by what is important to me at a given moment—what moves me, angers me, or hurts me. Art is a tool for me to transform what I need to confront. Sometimes, my work becomes a form of art therapy, allowing me to work through uncomfortable emotions or painful events. At times, free writing is enough for me. Other times, it’s weaving macrame or embroidering a manhole covers. Everything I need is within my reach. Now, I know what I need at any given moment. I just have to listen to myself.

WORKING ON PROJECTS – CONTEMPORARY ART

In my creative process, I work on projects. When I start a new idea, I immerse myself in it completely. However, I don’t set a specific deadline for its completion. Often, external factors, like an exhibition, determine the completion date. But usually, my projects remain open-ended, and I return to them after weeks, months, or even years. Everything depends on an inner need.

The best example is the Manhole covers project, whose frottages I began creating back in my student days. Over the years, it evolved into an artist’s book. I didn’t expect to return to it, but then, unexpectedly, the concept reappeared and wouldn’t leave me alone. So, I had to try, and once I started, I couldn’t stop. That’s why now I find myself searching for manholes again—not just to create frottages, but to use them in my embroidery. This led to the creation of the Portals project.

Of course, there are also completed works in my portfolio, like the artist’s book ABOUT A WOMAN. It all depends on the concept.

DIVERSITY OF CHOICE – THE ART OF EMBROIDERY

I am an artist in search. I embroider, write, photograph, draw, glue, weave, collect, and break things—all to create something new. There are so many techniques and materials available that it makes no sense to limit myself to just one. I have the freedom to choose. Therefore, I open myself to new possibilities. After all, anything can be a source of inspiration—sometimes, all it takes is a bit of mindfulness.

GIVING A SECOND LIFE – THE ART OF RECYCLING

Over time, I began incorporating second-hand materials into my work. Seeing how much is produced only to quickly end up in the trash, I felt a desire to repurpose what had been deemed unnecessary. In this way, I can contribute, even in a small way, to supporting environmental sustainability. That’s why I look for the materials I need in charity shops, where purchasing something also supports charitable causes. This approach has led me to explore the boundaries of recycled art.

SUBLIME EVERYDAYNESS – TEXTILE ART

In my work, I often incorporate everyday objects that have become significant to me for specific reasons. Everything carries some energy, so it’s no surprise that certain things resonate with us more than others. The objects I choose for my art are usually connected to specific people, events, or emotions. The best example of this is the LETTERS project.

INSPIRING NATURE – THE ART OF GLASS

Objects aren’t everything, though. Much of my inspiration comes from nature itself. Thanks to it, I’ve collected various feathers, dried flowers, stones, and butterfly wings that I’ve found. These natural elements have found their place in the Glass mandalas.

OLD THINKING

If someone had told me in the past that I would create my own website, I would have laughed out loud. “Me and computers?! Me in the IT field?! Never! Besides, what would I even show there? I’m not good enough.” Yes, those could definitely have been my words a few years ago. I only knew what I wanted to know. I only believed in what others deemed valuable. There was a time when my self-confidence depended on the opinions of others, especially my mentors and those I looked up to.

CHANGE AS REFRESHMENT

Now, I determine for myself what I believe in and what I don’t. The opinions of others have taken a back seat, making way for my inner voice. Am I always confident and certain that I’m making the right decisions? Not at all. No amount of self-confidence guarantees good decisions. However, faith in my own dreams gives me strength, especially in moments of doubt.

THE STRENGTH IS WITHIN US

Of course, I’m not a self-sufficient island. I live among people and for others. I’ve just learned to be more independent and to trust myself and my intuition more.

I’ve simply learned how to ask myself what I need and what I desire—something that wasn’t so obvious to me before. The strength I have to pursue my dreams and goals comes from within me, not from the external world.

NEW BEGINNINGS

When you have a connection with yourself and your source, choices become clearer. This doesn’t necessarily mean that everything becomes easier. By striving to live in harmony with oneself, you approach the difficulties encountered in life differently.

This page represents the materialization of a desire I have held for over 10 years. It is another testament to my own agency, which gives me strength for further goals and brings me closer to my calling. Through my work, I aim to bring the world joy, beauty, authenticity, uniqueness, and a fresh perspective on everyday life. Everything has its place and time. Life consists of stages—some end to make way for others.

And so begins my new path.
